We all know Floyd and old Bob aren't the best of friends so when Cotto left Top Rank did Floyd see a perfect oppurtunity to say "**** you Bob" by cashing in on his second biggest cash cow (behind Manny obv). Since Cotto lost to Manny, Bob was building him back up for a rematch to cash in again IMO. While Floyd is lining his pockets with a fighter Top Rank has spent the last 3 years building back up all Bob is left with is promoting Timmy 'no fans' Bradley for Manny.
