it might be true but he wouldn't have beat him that bad if he would have been like he was against floyd.
Not sure about "Dutch Courage" but probably drinking MORE than he normally does after this 6 minute rumble :good
Might be a bit of crazy statement but here goes. Maybe Billy Graham ruined Hatton? Maybe Hatton outgrew his trainer in the early 2000's? Maybe Hatton should of found a higher level of trainer when his ability surpassed that of Grahams? Just some thoughts :think
it's not really always the case. sometimes it ruins you and sometime it changes you for the better. as in darchinyan's case, the KO loss to nonito had made him more aware of his defense and made him a more dangerous fighter than ever. it could be the same case with hatton when he fought malignaggi. he just fought the better man in pac that night.
Yeah i think so, him and Cortez Hatton was still a beast in that fight, but he got pummelled He was never the same after that fight
Nonsense, He was bloody awful against Collazo. He was never ruined by anybody he just wasn't that great to begin with. Collazo showed the blueprint in the last round, if you can back away or sidestep hattons's wrestling then he can be had with hooks easily, left and right. Floyd was licking his lips when he saw that fight. Easy money. The only difference in the pac and Floyd fight was that Hatton was not allowed to Wrestle. thats why he lost and lost big style. The only reason hatton lasted longer vs floyd was because floyd likes to fight going backwards and invite his opponent onto his slick counters. pac doesnt do that he will either side step or go toe to toe. hence the outcome was lot quicker.
IMO Hatton blew anyway.. but yeah in a way i see it the same as tarver RJJ... Hatton looked TERRIBLE in BOTH the pac fight and the mali fight. not taking from pac at all cuz he's always been one of my favs.
Floyd get zero credit basically...He knocked the guy out in his biggest fight in front of millions yet someone who hurt him ruined him...:huh
