No, not a schooling. Floyd proved himself a class above Hatton but a "schooling" for me would be Calzaghe - Lacy.

It wasn't quite a 'schooling' per se, but it was largely one sided.

not a schooling, but that competitive either. it was only a schooling from round 7.

    Mayweahter 'convincingly' beat Hatton

    That sounds about right.

It wasn't competitive, Mayweather was never in trouble. Hatton's sloppiness and the crowd's wild reactions suggested that there was a fight while in fact PBF was 100% in control from the very beginning.

It was a more one-sided fight than MAB vs Hamed and a lot of people regard that as a schooling.

Not a chance Hatton caused him some issues early on, ergo not a schooling.

    How do you figure?

    -Hamed won more rounds
    -Wasn't badly hurt
    -Wasn't stopped
    -Didn't suffer a 10-8 round

Yes, he schooled him. He schooled him in the art of "in fighting". Floyd beat the man at his own game.

What, only people who have not seen Barrera vs Hammed consider it a schooling?

Ooops sorry, I thought you were suggesting it was a more one sided fight than Hatton's. Mixed wires.

Though lot's of people who have seen Hamed-MAB do call it a schooling.

Just 'cos Floyd didn't bash him around the ring doesn't mean it was competitive. He was in total control. Remember he's a defensive fighter. He was constantly luring Hatton in, controlling the pace, winning the rounds. Hatton doesn't deserve a rematch
