Well, he did teach him that the way he fights can get him KO'd by the right fighter, so that was a lesson. But did he completely school Hatton like he does other opponents, no
Of course. After Hatton mocked Mayweather's pitty pats on the pads, he beat Hatton's ass at his own game, inside fighting, and fouling. If that isn't an ass whooping I don't know what is.
"You say you're gonna whip my ass, well kiss my ass!" :rofl :rofl :rofl Hatton was very funny on 24/7
he was hurt in those last 2 rds. hamed was reduced to surviving late on. something that hatton will never do. :nono hatton went for it and that's why he was stopped.
& even as a Mayweather fan, I respect Hatton for that. He went balls out, all or nothing. He didnt wanna just lose a decision without trying his hardest, he took a risk and I personally dont think it backfired on him. He got respect from everyone including Floyd. Thats smart right there.
u got it. :yep hatton gave his all. mayweather upped it and ricky couldn't respond. no disgrace in that.
Ricky knew that the fight was gonna pull away and soon be out of reach. So he figured I may as well turn it up and go all out and try to make something happen instead of saving grace & sitting back for the rest of my life kicking myself because I didnt give my all. You gotta love that, thats why I had nothing bad to say about Ricky after the fight.
No way this fight is the definition of "schooling". Convincing/impressive win for Mayweather yes, but not a schooling.
What do you mean by Hatton's A game ? Wrestle Mayweather? :good Yes it was schooling. It may not look so now when you know the result, but noone questioned it a year ago when before the fight people were predicting Hatton winning by KO or Mayweather UD. If Hatton could keep coming forward while recieving those punches it doesn't really mean competetive.
Mayweather schooled him in the later rounds but I would say he schooled him when assessing the fight as a whole.
The title and the options are misleading. It was an impressive clear victory for FMJ but not a "schooling".
Mayweather schooled him, Hatton never did ANYTHING the whole fight apart from holding and hitting arms/gloves. Everytime Floyd opened up he started hitting Hatton flush and Hatton didn't had answers for it. Mayweather could have went in a little more offensive mind and it would have looked more like a Lacy schooling, but that isn't Floyd's style. It only looked competitive because Floyd was a little too defensive in the fight.
Hatton never did anything? The first four rounds he was landing some good jabs & some body hooks. I can see if you were talking about Gatti not doing ANYTHING, but Hatton did something.
