Mayweather did school him, not embarrassingly, but he was schooled. The proof is in hiring Floyd Sr., Hatton wants to learn what Floyd Jr. did to him. And I applaud him for it, the Paulie fight showed that he's still capable of improving and listening, Floyd Sr. commands his respect apparently.
No it was an even fight after 5-6 rds with a biased ref and at 147 At 140 it goes the distance and is much closer.
It wasn't a schooling as Floyd vs Corrales was, but it was pretty comprehensive. Hatton was in it for six rounds, then it was a masterclass.
I dont think you heard me, when a fighter calls out the specific name of the punch that KO'd you in the post fight interview, you've definetely been schooled.
it was hatton ho;ding on for dear life and then ending up on his face...so whatever name u want to put on that ....go for it
u r the only one....if he fights hatton again the haters will freak the **** out.....hatton is simply not in pbfs class
As usual here on ESB I cant vote because Im restricted to options that I dont agree with. Hatton wasnt outclassed from start to finish but it wasnt necessarilly a really tough fight for Mayweather. Rds 1-7 were competitive... rds 8-10 FMJ pulled away & yes, looked in a different class.
He gave him a lesson on fighting on the inside; I only gave Hatton one round of that fight. Inside fighting you see, isn't just grabbing your opponent, walking them onto the ropes and then hitting them, grabbing them again, sticking the top of your head in there face, lacing them, getting seperated by Mickey Vann or Dave Paris who let you do it and then repeating from step one without admonishment. Look what happened when a ref wouldn't let him get away with it.
