Agreed. And what about Mosley and Pacquiao when they were young? Floyd ducked just about every big fight ever.

    hahaha lol hilarious ,
luckily there are boxing experts that will make Mayweather justice in ATG discussions.

Too many biased haters on forums that hate him for funny reasons

Tbh up to 140 what Floyd did up to that point you can't really disrespect the guy, that's already a pretty legit resume and atg status. At 147 and 154 that's just extra and he could lose several fights there and still be an atg. From that point on he fought only the ones he NEEDED to to get more trinkets or belts, not the ones he HAD to get the respect he thought he deserved and his competition was pretty weak, Zab a natural 140lber while Baldomir and Spinks were soft touches, even a fight with Spinks would of been more acceptable than Judah or Baldomir. And then later Oscar and Mosley were yrs removed from their best yrs, but still competitive enough to have belts and ended up giving Floyd a run for his money still. I have no problem with that, where I do is him calling himself tbe. He shoulda taken on Cotto and Margarito yrs ago when they prime, just as DLH did when he moved up to face Hopkins, Leonard did with Hagler, and Duran with Barkley. Atg status is undeniable, but tbe is ridiculous. I think tho it will be hard to replicate what he did, tho his last couple of fights were of questionable competition. Pacman fight should be able to make up for not facing Cotto or Margarito when he should have.

Dude I understand why Floyd did what he did. If I was a professional boxer I'd do it too. If I could make all that money, but never take fights that I could lose then hell yea why not do it?

Pacquiao is an ATG and both Mayweather and Pacquiao aren't in their primes.

So you're saying you were a professional boxer you would take on prime Mosley, Pacquiao, GGG, Morales, etc.

    Why not just duck?

Hell no Cotto is not all time great. DLH lost to every great fighter he fought. Sturm was a robbery.

Cotto had a lot of great wins including wins over Mosley and more recently Martinez

    I think he deserves consideration

DLH fought everyone in his day

Plus, he beat Trinidad despite being robbed

That was the biggest fight of his career. He faced another prime monster and outboxed him.

The sturm fight was a robbery but DLH was way past it by that point so that has little to no baring on his legacy imo

Atg's are called atg's after they are retired. Though some exist during their careers but most are judged afterwards. So we will wait until then to call guys ATG's you ****en... I'm wondering who the atg's that you think that Floyd DIDN'T fight lol...:nut
