So am I, he looked absolutely horrible in that fight. I don't think anyone had him actually "winning" I'd hate for him to retire, he really had much more he could've accomplished
He took the fight with Forrest on just a couple days notice - or, perhaps more to the point, Triller realized they were paying him rather a lot of money to stay home that evening. I think Triller began sweating bullets once Andrey Fedosov pulled out. I've heard that Michael Hunter was only told 48 hours before the fight that they were going to have him fight Jerry Forrest and not Joe Jones (who was ultimately given Junior Wright as an opponent). It looks like Triller is in the process of crashing and burning as I type this....on account of its not paying its "content creators". Not ideal, when your content creators are martial artists (boxers, MMA and son on) and there are vast sums of money on the table.
Triller is trying to go public, bilk a lot of dumb investors and enable its founders to get rich while leaving the company to fend for itself. We'll see if it works, but at any rate their boxing platform appears dead.
Absolutely. Other than the weird stuff he had going on with drug testing, I actually really like Hunter. Seems a nice guy too, refreshing in the current climate of massive egos. I've finally got back around to uploading the Youtube video...no doubt it will be down again in a week or two: This content is protected
