Boxrec have it as a 10 rounder. The market shouldn't of been voided.

I have a case, betfair looking into it now. The reason they said they voided it was because the market was for a 10 rounder, they thought it had been changed to 12 because Pass said 12 rounds. he got it wrong. They voided the market so nobody won/lost. BUT. The fight was a 10 rounder and is in the records as a 10 rounder.

  3. Mate attempted to convince them that decision was wrong but they were not interested. They state that they are 100% sure it was a 12 round fight and dismissed boxrec even though it is the source of boxing results.

They did not provide any sources of evidence that it was a 12 round fight and are sticking to the void decision.

No doubt the Pass announcement and boxnation showing round 1/12 on the video is what this void decision is based on.

Boycott this mob in the future as punters are shafted win and lose.

Post if you get paid out but it will be a hard slog convincing them they are wrong.

Absolute **** take, that is terrible

  5. Send them this link: http://www.bbbofc.com/results

The governing bodies website is a lot more believable than boxrec.

The very least, you'll get your round2 bet back also, they cant void one and not the other.

  7. Thanks for the link

    Going to email them now

If anything they should be giving you better odds, as they took a bet for a fight with less rounds within it to win the fight!

Did you use the exchange or the sportsbook?

    Exchange mate.

  11. Exchange as well

Their sportsbook regularly offers the worst value prices seen in the industry

    Yeah its wank.

Just wondering cos its never in their interest to void a market on the exchange cos all they lose is commission.

Sorry to say there is very little chance of the decision being changed, betfair have become a pisspot firm now, their customer service is some of the worst I've ever encountered.

  13. Totally agree but they cannot ignore the BBOC link above which clearly states 10 rounds

IBAS here we come if no joy tomorrow

I've wrote to the BBBoC to get official confirmation, mainly to be signed by someone to present to betfair.

An individual at betfair has ****ed up and they're reluctant to turn it now.

  15. Don't give up and report them to IBAS if they refuse to pay out.

Will post an update tomorrow when I have another go at them
