Did mike tyson ask holyfield to take a blood test???

    i've done some research and in the book The Holyfield way they talk about this exact thing.


    Here are some segments from the holyfield's book i was talking about.

    "There was prior hint of this defeatist attitude a few weeks earlier when Marc Ratner, the executive director of the Nevada State Athletic Commision called to tell me Tyson would not fight unless Evander took a steroid test"

    "This did not bother me at all because I knew with certainty from my many talks with Evander on this topic that he had never used steroids"

    "evander told me some people had urged him to use steroids, especially when he was moving up to heavyweight division. Evander always refused for one reason. If he had used steroids and then became heavyweight champion he would never known whether he could have done it without the steroids"

    "I wasn't worried about the test and I knew that a refusal would be taken as evidence of guilt. On the other hand Tyson had no probable cause to request such a test and absolutely no right to require one as a condition for the fight going forward"

    " I discussed this situation with Evander, who came up with a brilliant solution. He said he would take the test provided the results would not be revealed to Tyson until after the fight.

    Tyson wanted him to take the best PED testing method available to insure he's clean. He accepted without issue. Fight got made. Funny how that happened and a lot of people didn't even know it happened... Because Evander didn't cry about the testing and sue instead of taking the tests to prove he's clean.

    Exactly. Floyd in his ignorance is not even asking for full OSDT because if he was they would both have to be available for testing 24/7 while officially active even if they have no fights lined up. Any drug cheat could pump themselves full of PED's between fights, get all the benefits and maintain them in the lead up to the fight and still come out clean on any tests taken based upon what Floyd is asking for.

    whatever the test was (if it was administered) obviously failed to detect what holy was on (or recently on) at the time

    Holyfield was ABSOLUTELY and POSITIVELY on a **** load of steroids for Mike Tyson. That is unquestionable!

    He accepted the test becuase he has wanted that fight from the very start, when he moved up to heavy, the idea was to challenge and beat the man... when the fight finally came about Holyfield took the test like a man and obviously passed them.

    Nobody knows how close to the fight the test were done, However if you read the red part below it clearly indicates they were done prior to the fight...

    The red part indicates the the testing was done leading into the fight, doesnt say how close, but states will reveal the test after the fight, meaning they were taken prior to.....
    Holyfield took the test becuase Evander wanted to prove to the world who the best was... this is what a champion is about.
