    Monzon is a slow starter.

Why do you hate this guy?

:lol:I don't see how getting smacked around the ring like a prostitute constitutes as "winning the event".

Monzon is just the kind of fighter we shoiuld be discussing! A lot of subtlety to his game, I admit, and interesting things to talk about. He got a lot out of limited physical attributes. But that doesn't mean we should have to start picking him to whoops Hopkins and Hagler and Hearns and Robinson all in one night, which is out of hand.

I don't hate anyone. I have him on my background screen at the momeny actually, I admit (the picture of him standing over Bogs). I sound like frankenfrank now.

15 rounds in the ring with a Monzon is a long time......so Monzon had another 10 rounds to bust Napoles up.

    Napoles was just too small.

Dundee said before the fight he thought no way his man would lose, but afterwards gave Monzon credit for the victory.

Just a case of a navy cruiser taking on a battleship, the battleship deflects the cruiser lighter shells, then the 16 inch battleship shells get through and its all over but the cryin'.

Goto agree with this, Napoles was fighting at 137 until the age of 28, clearly a small man, the size difference between the rightfully mocked contest of Mayweather and Marquez is not as great as Napoles-Monzon, although Napoles is ofcourse better than Marquez
