Did Morales really outboxed Pacquiao in their first fight?

after beating pac morales had a fight at 135 DID NOT MAKE WEIGHT, fight went ahead and morales lost, then pac took him on with his rematch clause BUT IT HAD TO BE AT 130. morales pleaded for them to atleast hold it at 135 where he stood a chance at making weight pacs team would not budge

call it what you want but if you think he was healthy you are mistaken

he was healthy he fought even lower then that and was and his best weight was actually 122

I don't recall the fight off hand. But if the judges had it 7 to 5, they obviously though Morales outboxed, or outfought Pac in 7 of the rounds. I also don't put much stock in the win for Morales. I always despised the fact that he would make an opponent wear pillow like Winning brand gloves. That was a ***** move, every time he pulled that ****. We saw what happened in the rematch and the rubber match where Pac was allowed to wear his regular ****. Those pillow like Winning gloves make a difference in fights.

Yea interesting you point that out I just read about that again murat took more cash and never showed team pac and roach the contract were he picked the gloves they were only aware of it a day before the fight? I am not sure but murat was to blame there

It's a legit excuse. Pac was made to wear Pillow like Winning gloves. Floyd used to wear those gloves at one point to protect his brittle hands. They soften the blow. When Pac didn't have to wear them he tore that **** up. Morales might have died in the ring, if he didn't make Maidana wear them also.
