Now I'm actually thinking Mosley can win. He wasn't stopped against other power punchers; ODLH, FORREST, MAYORGA...
I really do think Mosley has a good chance of beating Margie. He has a strong chin and great stamina coupled with his speed and ring savvy. Margie will be in for a long fight. I still think Margie needs to come out of the closet.
dude...NAZIM is in his corner...the same guy who trained HOPKINS...and we all know what Hopkins' bread and butter is :hey:yep:good
Larry Merchant mentioned before the 2nd Vargas fight that because Shane is so beautiful to watch we sometimes forget how tough he is. I know alot of you are expecting Shane to go the same way as Cotto but that just isn't happening, Mosley is a professional, he knows what he's doing and this is going to resemble Hopkins vs. Pavlik quite a bit, yet more one sided for shane.
Mosley had an easy night versus Collazo cuz he hurt is hand early in the fight. IMO if Collazo hadnt broken his hand, the fight would have been very different. Mosley will have his moments but i expect Marg to outhustle Mosley to a UD
**** no. Mosley beat Collazo with hard punches and countershots standing directly in the pocket. Williams beat Margarito with flicking shots that didn't even land in alot of cases frantically boxing for dear life.
Mosley, BTW, will likely never look close to as good as he did against Collazo ever again. Last gasp.
Yes, Williams hit Margarito with solid shots - in the rounds that Margarito was winning, and fighting his fight. Watch rounds 1-4 and round 12. These are the rounds that Williams was clearly winning (and doing what I was describing). The significance being that this exploration is based on the application of a successful gameplan against Margarito. Cintron was landing sweet part of the bat homerun shots on Margarito - when he was getting his ass beat.
