Like I said if it dont fit into the stand that floyd is a ducker that is scared to fight the big bad welterweights, it gets ignored or underplayed on this site.

Wow most people have memory lost. People say the reason Mosley refuse to fight Mayweather in 06 is cause De la hoya vs Mayweather was already plan? Bull ****. De la hoya vs Mayweather was plan to fight each other on sept 06 but it didn't happen cause Oscar said his shoulder was killing him in which it was hard for him to trainand prepare for Mayweather for sept showdown. After that there was no talk about De la hoya vs Mayweather until after Mayweather beat Baldimor.



Now in july of 06 after Mosley easily beat up a shot Vargas, Mayweather was at the post fight press conference making a challenge to Mosley to fight Mayweather at nov 06 but Mosley refuse cause he said his tooth hurt and blah, blah, blah and Mosley said that Mayweather needs to fight Margarito before fighting him.


I got a question if Mosley turn down a Mayweather show down in nov 06 cause his boss wants Mayweather first then why Mosley said Mayweather should fight Margarito before him? <<That don't make any sense. I think you people that said "cause of oscar" is making stupid excuses of why Mosley turn down the fight in 06.

 

They offered Margarito a fight about 2 weeks before his fight with ShotGun Gomez, Margarito turned it down, there was not enough time to get in the kind of sparring and work to prepair for Mayweathers style.

Mayweather pretty much knew that offering him the fight like that they would turn it down, its a way to save face for Floyd and to his fans it worked.

 

Marg was already preparing for Shotgun,you know this?

 

I dont recall Mosley saying Mayweather should fight Margarito before him, I recall Mosley asking why he doesnt take the 8 million to fight Margarito...
I have no idea where your getting this information from but everybody knows weather you admit it or not you know Mosley didnt duck Floyd, Mosley simply showed Oscar some respect and didnt get in the middle of what Oscar had planned.

if you would have asked Floyd at that moment, Both DLH and Mosley want to fight you, who do you want to fight first? What do you think that Floyds answer would have been anyways? you think he would have fought Shane when there is Millions to be made with Oscar?

And get your facts straight, after De la hoya change his mind of not fighting Mayweather in sept cause of his shoulder problems. Since that time Mayweather was looking for a big fight on november and the one person he was looking for is the Mosley fight. Thats why Mayweather was at the post fight pressconference to called out Mosley after Mosley easily destroyed Vargas but again Mosley turn it down cause he's said his tooth hurt and Mayweather should fight Margarito before him and Mosley said he needed a vacation. Mayweather vs De la hoya wasn't even talk about fighting each other until after Mayweather beat Baldimor.
