Judah lost to Baldo Jan 7 2006, the date for the Judah Mayweather fight was April 8 2006. margo fought Feb 18 2006. According to the HBO telecast of Judah vs Mayweather, "ON Jan 9 2006 Arum was spent a contract for Margo to fight Mayweather, ON April the 8th of 2006" HOW the **** is that two weeks??? Dude that is like three months. It was a simple matter of finding a replacement fighter for that crappy PPV card and taking the fight that they had been claiming they wanted all along, that is what you do when you really want a fight.

If Floyd was ready to fight Margo with that notice shouldnt Margo had been ready to fight Floyd on the same notice??? Or are you saying that Floyd was a better fighter and didnt need the time???:good

Blind hate really makes smart people look bad.

All I can remember was back in 98 or 99 when Shane was at 135 and Floyd at 130 I read in Ring, or maybe KO? that Shanes Dad approached Floyd Sr who was training Jr at the time and Sr. told him Jr wasn't ready for the fight yet. At last that is what was written.

This was 2006 not 1999. And the question was asked by Merchant, Floyd never approached a fight with Shane because everyone knew Oscar was going to fight him.

Wrong Mayweather approch to Mosley in the post fight press conference after Mosley ko Vargas in the rematch. De la hoya vs Mayweather wasn't in talks again until after Mayweather beat Baldimor.

    ducking is the wrong word.

its similar to how mosley has chose not fight williams, floyd in 99 wasnt a big draw and other opponents could get mosley more money.

now that floyd is back everyone wants a shot, mosley dint give floyd a shot so dont see why floyd should now

    Yes he did.

What happened is what most fighters do, only difference is people hold on to it based on who they like or hate.

At the time Mosley had a lot of big money options and bigger names, why the hell would he waste time looking an unknown, dangerous and rising Mayweather?. That's the business side taking over like it takes over for ALL fighters, not just Mayweather. Like I said Mayweather has a point ditching an unknown Margarito for bigger/better options I'll say the same for Mosley in this situation.

Didn't Margarito ALSO ditch other options, which his "pride" considered OBLIGATIONS, to go for bigger money and easier fights as soon as he scored his FIRST good win?. Those obligations were also guys that whopped his ass who he never thought about having a rematch with. The money making plan backfired into concrete, suspension and canvas licking.

I think you need to be real fruitcake :rofl

Shane clearly said after the Vargas fight that Mayweather should fight Margarito instead of him in Nov, why the **** would he say that if he was protecting the supposed OSCAR fight?

It's funny how Hopkins was right next to Mosley when they ducked the fight with Mayweather after Merchant grilled Mosley ass.

Hopkins and Mosley then had the bloody cheek to step in the ring after the marquez v mayweather fight to ask Mayweather for a match. The irony is ridiculous:lol:

They wont admit it because it don't fit there naive theory that has mayweather as the ultimate ducker in boxing history:patsch

You show them evidence after evidence they still deny it.

**** you even show them a video of Mosley ducking any chance of fighting Mayweather in 06 and they still deny it.
