Did Mosley really ducked Floyd in 99?

Looking at resumes and saying who fought who still doesnt change the truth and that is Floyd/Arum did try and get a fight with shane and shane didnt take it. Now you can say he didnt do it for whatever reason and they may be legit, but facts are the fight was offered and the fight was turned down.

 

Who cares. That was then, this is now. Mosley is the #1 or #2 ranked welterweight right now, and why isn't this reason enough for them to fight?
I think Floyd beats him, perhaps easily, but that doesn't mean the fight shouldn't happen.
Granted, if Pac beats Cotto, that's a bigger fight for Floyd and I won't blame him for going that route.
But I'm sick of this "who ducked who" ****. The top guys in a division should fight each other. Plain and simple.

 

You're still here spitting this ****. Why don't you ever mention the whole story. You admitted yourself Shane was struggling making 135 at the time. Then the fight Floyd offered him was at a catch weight of 137. Not to mention Mosley already had his mind set on Oscar.:hi:

 

For one last time moron...Shane MAY have wanted to fight Oscar at that point, but Oscar had no intent on fighting Shane so while he was looking to fight Oscar he didnt have a fight with Oscar. Yes I said that Shane couldnt make 135 because he couldnt, but what does that have to do with him being offered a fight??? for what ever reason you clowns cant even admitt that the fight was offered and Shane COULD have took the fight, and he didnt turn the fight down to fight Oscar. Its not that complex.

-a fight with oscar wasnt the reason that Shane didnt take the fight, because there was no fight with Oscar in the plans. That didnt happen until after the rematch with Tito couldnt get made, and after Oscar fought Corley.

All the crap about resumes, weight, fake or real offers dont really matter those are the facts.

OK now why give a **** about the past anymore, if we're true boxing fans and want the most compelling fights as fans, first and foremost, then we should all demand fights like MOSLEY-MAYWEATHER being made right now, no matter who was right or wrong in the past...

There's no justifying otherwise because both fight at 147 and they are the best at that weight !
