He can find 800K to buy out SBW's contract yet suddenly Trout is asking too much even though if he beats Trout he would be the first boxer to win world titles in 3 descending weight divisions. Scared:yep
    He's ducking Trout.:deal

    :lol::lol::lol:

let's have a look at how he has gone in the "big dangerous fights"

Ottke : Ko'd by a grazing right cross

Siaca : KD in the 2nd on way to loss

Kessler : abolutely schooled and made to look like an amateur

    Green : won easy

    Geale : won split points

avoided world title fights : Kessler, Golovkin, Geale, Trout

    big dangerous fights :lol::lol::lol::lol:

Exactly, and given the closeness of their last fight, that is enough to sway it to Geale. Even if we don't consider Geales improvement.
Perhaps, but he has fought 2 very good opponents (SS & RK), and both were substantially better than any of the opponents Mandy has fought since Geale.
    You'd be surprised.
Yes it's true I like Geale because of his attitude, however don't think for a minute I would continue to support him if he played the game Mandy has played for over 5 years.

He'll need to back up his words, and so far I trust he will.
    I'm not debating that.
I'd strongly disagree with that, not so much because of Geales power, I'll admit he isn't a power house, however he has KO'd a few over time which surprised me.
    RK for instance.

More to the point, Mandy hasn't the greatest chin around, and he can definitely be worked on for a late KO.
If anyone can do that, it's Geale.
He did a few years ago, but I can't see it today.
    I do, and fairly comfortably.

Mandy was gassed pretty bad in their last encounter. He's 3 years older, and lost his sting.
I really can't see how he could win now.

No he made the offer for the Trout fight but Trouts promoters wanted options - Mundine is too big of a star for giving up options.

Mundine became mandatory so Trout couldn't have options.

Mundine only wanted the belt to spring him to the USA, Top Rank will do that, trout is obsolete. Mundine can get bigger money and credit fighting the other champs.

Ottke - 11th fight gave him hell.
Siaca - he didnt train and fought "like a *****" in his own words.
Kessler - fought well against a huge SMW in his prime.
    Green - humbled australia.
Geale - Sat him down, took the belt home.

Kessler - no money in Denmark, Golovkin - isnt a name even now, geale cant draw even in tasmania and whinged on to the ibo, trout - explained above.

    :hi:

True enough, but it's not hard to be objective about it.

    Last paragraph.

It was a clinical performance from the Australian who proved many people wrong who thought he didn’t belong on the world stage. When Mundine was asked about his next fight being against Austin Trout for the regular WBA title he responded with,

Sox I don't think you will ever say Mundine will beat Geale in a rematch and I know I will never say Geale could beat Choc. They will fight again and Choc will break Australia's heart again like he did by whipping Green.

Until then you cling to Geale getting "robbed" and I will keep talking up what actually happened - the knocking down and outboxing of Geale by mundine.

Although Mundine is less mobile (not massively), in the first fight his cleaner harder shots won him that fight. If he's gonna have to stand and trade more he will be planting his feet and its goodnight geale :deal.

Seems to be duck season all year round for Anthony Mundine. It's a wonder Laurie Levy's not chasing after him.

    Fair enough.

I think we need to have a serious wager on this if the fight ever comes about. :good
