even his gameplan was wrong. Garcia gameplan was better because he makes adjustments.

even if khan was throwing just 1-2 combination he would get caught eventually because garcia was timing him. he set up that left hook perfectly. from the start he was punching with amir with right hooks that were just off time and missing by inches. then after the first he began his body attack with a few low blows thrown in. then in the latter part of the 3rd he continued to try and time khan - and eventually caught him with a left hook which he hadn't thrown much previously.

punching with khan and timing is what did it. mallignaggi also confirmed on radio commentary it wasnt a lucky shot, as that what you do when you're trying to time the oppenent, tuck you chin in and punch with him as he comes in.

khans in-out style where he leaps in, allows him to be timed and that's what garcia did.

fair to bunce, he was not alone in that.

angel garcia, as much as he is a complete twat - he was right in that people werent giving his son props... he was ameteur US champion and was undefeated never hurt or knockedown against some pretty good B level fighters. he hadnt faced A level guys yet, but he has now and had a good KO ratio.

also, khan is a bit over hyped and given free pass after some poor performances due to his popularity.

unlucky khan. it is quite sad too see him get ko'd after all the **** they talked about him. YOu could see khan would happily die in the ring if he could. Only if he had a good chin... fair play to garcia though, i suppose its not his fault his dad talks ****..

Thats a good concise analysis of Khan.
A good wising up and been honest with oneself would do Khan a world of good.

Bet Khan regrets saying "I can't wait until the post fight press conference after I knock your son out!"

Halling and Watt were embarrassing just before Garcia knocked him down the first time. He was missing but looking solid and as dangerous as hell, but that dope Halling in particular didn't see what he was trying to do - catch Khan coming in.

Khan will have so many regrets after this fight... not only all the trash talking, borken promises and angel garcia.... but also his multi million dollar payday against Mayweather is gone for good now.

I just wonder, if this Al Haymon is a true genius. Did he set the meeting up with Khan and Ellerbe just so that Khan took more of his mind off this fight just days before Garcia and him are about to Showdown - Surely it makes sense to sit down after the garcia fight?

Al Haymon is clearly and evidently behind Garcia, you can tell that from Garcias post fight press conferance and statements during kellerman interview in the ring. Also Sam Watsons twins are always grinning around Garcia. I reckon they hope to build this kid up to be big Star in the future that's what they are hoping anyway. If this guy is going to be so great, why did a flabby, overweight, operated on, shot Morales do relitively well with him? Al Haymon is Kaiyser Soze

I don't agree with the last sentence. Kenny is the best referee today bar none...
