Man does this fight look like a fix. Vitali, in his second bout post Byrd, barely tags Norris and he goes down. This fight looks totally fixed.

The Hide KO also looked suspicious.

If he didn't he might as well have. No matter what Norris did to prepare for that fight, there was no way he was ever going to get anywhere with Vitali Klitschko. He was too small, too old, had no power and the wrong fighting style.. Mismatch from the word go....

You folks never seen a guy know he is overmatched and just stay down? I wouldn't call it a dive, just a guy who realized he had nothing to offer but absorbing punishment.

He may have stayed down but I don't think anyone would have paid him to do it it was going to happen anyway.

In the Adamek fight Vitali land the same punch and Adamek legs looked to buckle like Solis but the he regained his footing but it may have been the weird leverage Vitali gets from 6'8 in the sky

GTFO Are you kidding me? That ****ing quitter went down, got up, calmly walked back to his corner, calmly sat down and then his manager started going ape **** screaming at him to stay down that they would get another fight and more money. DQ my ass. They played off of Tyson's rep that night trying to cash in. Norris wasnt injured, he was faking and looked sheepish as hell trying to come up with an explanation. He should have been given a brief period to recover AT BEST and then counted out if he refused. Talk about a fraud. "DQ" whatever:verysad

Nothing personal. Just seemed beyond ridiculous.

But take solace that you will never, no matter how much you might try, as big a bag of evil **** as Rummy.

According to Manny Steward, Vitali is an intimidating person in the ring even with Liston and Tyson in that department.

Sometimes smaller guys moving up can get scared and freeze or fold. It happened to a few of Tyson's opponents.

Was this fight fixed? I doubt it. The more likely outcome is Norris was in over his head and opted out.
