Finally, someone else with enough sense to realize this is an actual possibility.

We can only speculate on this matter considering the way things ended.

As sucker punches go that was a good one/two/three(canvas) by Floyd.

A look at Ortiz's face about 3-4 secs after his head bounces off the canvas
tells you he won't recoup in time.

Ortiz should try MMA. He can get away with the headbutts as the refs tend to turn an eye when something is exciting, yet against the rules.

    4th round was his best?

Floyd pulled out to a huge lead in the beggining of that round. He beat on Victor and Victor had to hold on in the beggining of the round.

i think he legit couldn't beat the count so he didn't quit in that sense but I think the headbutt was his attempt at quitting and a way out. When Vic gets frustrated he tends to foul like a dirty little ****.

i also think there's a very good possibility that he thought he might get a DQ win so he decided to stay down even though there was a slight possibility of him continuing for another round or 2, once again he saw an out and took it.

After the most recent events now I'm convinced he threw the fight. He's exactly the type of fighter who would take a fight like that just to cash out and sit down just to avoid getting bruised up too much.
