Yep! Look how happy he was after the Floyd fight ...... and the Maidan fight .... and the Lopez fight .... See a pattern here?

 

I think its just his personality. He may get over things quickly and/or hides his sadness in a smile after such events. Smiling can be used as a tool to release chemicals to make you happy.

 

You are correct and proved my point. He feels embarrassed that he quit(s) and once the event is over, he makes himself smile to feel better. I'm honestly not knocking him, but he has quit or looked for a way out in the 3 fights I mentioned.

 

No it wouldn't. The only thing consistent about Ortiz is that he is a head case. He was in with a mentally tougher fighter and was looking for a way out. No more no less.
