    First 10 rounds???

It's a pleasure to meet you Mrs. Delahoya. You must be proud of your son.

I had Oscar winning 5-2-1 at that point, with Tito winning the last four.

To be fair - Tito is my favourite fighter ever, so my scorecard means ****-all.

Yeah, that's why his white trunks were covered with his blood and his eyes was swollen.
    Pitty pat punches.

Tell that to Tito who was eating them all night.

Only technically wrong in saying he won the rounds straight through. Which he might have if you were to give him the close rounds which they probably did. But to be fair the close rounds are only one or two rounds.

Hell no! I'm pretty sure I had it 5-2-1 for Oscar going into the 9th.

Oscar won 8 of the first 9 rounds, and im being nice by giving Tito the 4th, you could easily make a case for a shutout thru the first 9. I had it 116-112 Oscar.

I had it 115-114, Oscar. My final scorecard was pretty close to Larry Merchants, give or take a round.

Basically the middle rounds were easily to given Oscar and the late rounds were easily given to Tito. The decision it seemed came down to the tentative, unconvincing action of the opening rounds. It could have been interpreted any number of ways, but I personally had it 2-1-1 after four. Close as they were, I was more convinced by Oscars snappy double jabs and crisp right hands than Tito's aggression and clubbing right hand leads. Obviously the judges didn't agree. :conf

Like I said mega fight dubbed fight of the millennium big time promoters PPV lots of betters money Trinidad was very popular you cannot take anything for granted. Legends are given favors on score cards. De La Hoya should have known better. He should have known not to give away a fight like that. It was not like Tito was on the verge of a TKO Oscar could have fought another 4 like the 1st 8 without any difficulty. He ****ed himself. plain and simple. High stakes equals high risk. Only double your chances to be screwed so why give rounds away for no reason
