Was he a gutsy fighter? Tbh i cant remember him being in a tough fight he kind of quit against hopkins and pac. The floyd fight was quite toe to toe at times but floyd is feather fisted esoecially at 154. Anyway, any fights where he had to dig deep win or lose?
Oscar showed tons of heart in his win over Quartey. He dug deep to win the last round. It was a signature moment, IMO.
Havnt seen the quartey fight. Most jis fights ive seen were just cliniques, close fights with some good back n forth action or he fought scared like the tito fight.
Oscar was getting overpowered against Vargas, but his superior boxing skills helped him take over in round 7 . Against Ike Quartey as jeffjoiner mentioned he was losing the fight imo. I had it even going into the 10th or 11th. But despite getting hurt and falling behind, he came back and ****ed Quartey's world in the 12th. Against John John Molina the young Oscar had to dig deep to beat the Veteran.
Your spelling has improved slightly, we can just about decipher what you type now. I guess easing back on your uncle's cum has done wonders for you...
He never had to really be hurt and dig deep. He was so good, but he also never put himself on the line to get knocked out. He is a conservative fighter who wins fights any way he can and in safety mode with his jab and by decision usually. When he was at lightweight and superlight. he would knock guys out with the counter left, but he didn't rush in there and blow them away. But he was gutsy. Any top fighter has to be gutsy to reach that level. Gutsy compared to Hagler? No.. But gutsy yes.
