Go find me another fight where a fighter NEEDED to win in order to SECURE possibly RICHEST fight in boxing History, and where Arum was involved in. I'll wait to see if you find one.
Yes it did. The moment I saw the look on Pacquiao walking towards the ring at the start I knew it is going to be the same as the two previous fights. That Marquez will always trouble Pacquiao. And this is a stinker compared to the first two fights. Too much respect for each other.
Yes it somehow did. I predicted that if Pac cant take him out early marquez will counterpunch the **** out of him an he did. The only thing he was denied of was getting the judges to acknowledge his win.
You just ducked my question Floyd style. To answer yours, can't find one, which is probably your answer as well. I thought you always said Arum doesn't want Floyd? Quite a dillema huh?
I didn't think it would be so competitive due to the weight issue for Marquez. I thought Manny would win by blowout ko or dominating for 12 rounds like Mayweather did. I was pleasantly surprised to find Marquez in the shape of his second fight and this fight almost mirrored that one along with the decision.
I thought pacman would dominate the fight and win via UD, man i was so wrong. No way did i see this robbery coming, I won 150 bucks on the decision but i feel like i cheated lol.
No I predicted KO for Manny inside 5 even though i was rooting for JMM. I'm happy that he proved me wrong as I didn't bet any money. This fights makes me ask so many questions...Was Cotto ever an elite fighter for example or he was just massively overrated. Oscar and Mosley were old and shot when Pac fought them the fighter that really made me believe that Pac is great was Cotto(above FW obviously his wins against Barrera and Morales are grerat). Now I wonder because Cotto literally quit in two of his fights
No it did not. I expected Pacquiao to win by UD or KO. I wondered if Marquez was going to have enough power to make Pac respect him at this weight. Also I was worried about JMM's chin at this weight. When I saw that Marquez weighed 150 on fight night I thought, "oh ****, he's going to be too slow." I'm glad I got my money's worth, even if I didn't agree with the decision.
Yup. Marquez will pull the upset. But I did know that if it was close it would go to Pacquiao.... but 116-112 Pac WTF?!
respect I saw your post today. As JMM fan I predicted early Pac KO. But boxing is so tough to predict...
I predicted a round 6 or less KO. Couldn't have been farther from the outcome. Mad props to JMM for "schooling" Pac. Pac on the other hand, I think should retire. I'd like to see Mayweather-Martinez now more than Pac-Mayweather. It would be an absolute mismatch in favor of Money.
