I am just amazed at how a floyd fan can defend floyd when the facts are plain as day about whatever the issue may be if floyd did something jacked up...I am amazed at how a pac fan can do the same thing...I keep reading things about pac didnt take the fight because it wouldnt have made since to fight a drained mosley but yet the posters that are saying this cant seem to remember or mention that Mosley didnt come to fight at 140. In the video he was asking to fight at 147.

So IMO, Yes it would make more since to fight a 145 cotto instead of a weight-drained mosley, but it makes more sense to me to fight a 147 Mosley than a catchweight cotto.

No matter what, its hard for me to defend pac on this one when there is a video that outlines what happened from roach himself. Its right in your face. And even when i try to say well pac didnt say it, ROACH said it, I cant even use that excuse because anytime pac is asked about decisions, he says that you have to ask roach. So in essence roach is his voice. So if pac really wanted to fight mosley all had to do was speak up and roach would listen.

Pac ducked Mosley to fight Cotto, a fighter who beat Mosley.

Had Pac accepted Mosley's call out, people would say Pac ducked Cotto, since talks were already under way.

[x] Pac in no win situation here. According to some relentless Pac haters, Pac ducks one or the other to satisfy their Pac hating tradition.

Man get the hell out of here because this topic is IRRELEVANT. Pacquiao would beat Mosley's ass. Late TKO corner stoppage.

the reason pac and floyd didnt fihgt in march was because roach even said he was too good and would need months and months to prepare

this was before the blood testing issue

and there were talks about a mosley-pac fight before cotto even cam into the pricture, you have pac loyalyts saying cotto was already considered, but cotto hadn't even beaten-clottey yet when mosley was after a msoely fight. you cant say pac outright ducked mosley, there isn't enough evidence, but there is enough to suggest he and his handlers preferred to fight cotto over mosley for reason only they know.

no but the difference is mosleys title would stil be on the line
because even weighing over a few grams on the scale over 140 is classed as weltrweight even though it wud still have been more or less 140

and about the 140lb offer mosley gave pacquiao, that was because he was chasing pac and wanted the fight at all cost. pac could have said i'll fight you at 147, if he wanted to, couldnt he?

no. mosley offered to fight pac at 140 so in essence, they would be fighting for pac's title. and how would mosley fighting at 140.0001 be a better fight than cotto at 145?
