Cotto was hardly Shane's daddy, that was a close fight that was going more and more Shane's way at the end. Besides, Shane already has a daddy, and that is Vernon Forrest RIP

And there is simply no proof that Margo had loaded gloves against Cotto, that remains to be speculation.

LOL, of course Pac ducked Shane. Both Shane and Pac are brawlers. If they got in the ring Shane would definitely out brawl Pac.
Except Pac is gonna pull a Joe Calzaghe and fight Mosley in 2012 or 2014 time-frame when Shane is older.

He went and fought Clottey for god sake, and there was very little money in that fight compared to a Mosley fight as well as very little risk. Fighting Oscar did generate more money, but that was not the only reason why they choose Oscar over Mosely. Mosley as Roach stated is a better fighter then Oscar (more risk for Manny) check the link below sarting at 6:57

Some of the replies in here are amazing

Roach is not only Pac's trainer he is his matchmaker and we have video footage of him saying that Mosley was too good an opponent even with the concessions Mosley was willing to make yet some people are still saying he didn't duck him.

Funnily enough I bet if you check the posts of most who voted no you won't have to look to hard to find them calling Mayweather a ducker for not making fights with fighters who didn't want to fight him or brought less to the table than the people he fought instead.

    At least be consistent.

Mayweather was caught in a pickle. He HAD no choice but to fight Mosley once he ducked Pac.

When it comes to Pac, Ducking is overrated. here's a list according to ESB that Pac has ducked.

Zahir Raheem, Joan Guzman, Joel Casamayor, Shane Mosley, Paul Williams, and PBF...:-:)-(

I'd say ducked and this fight would have been a war. No one has fought mosley going toe to toe with him and won.

He ducked. He took on Cotto post Margarito destruction AFTER Mosley destroyed Margarito.

    Pac ducked.

I don't agree... I would have praised Pac for beating Mosley instead of Cotto. I mean this is boxing, and Mosley was the champ at the time, what happened between Cotto and Mosley 3 years prior doesn't hold much weight when Mosley destroyed the man that gave Cotto a vicious beating.

He fought a tougher opponent, so that's not a duck.

I'd rather see Pac in with a 29 year old Cotto who than a 38 year old Mosley. Especially since Cotto actually beat a younger version of Mosley.

I don't think Cotto was tougher than Mosley at the time. Sure he won a close fight against Mosley a few years ago, but much had happened since then.

Mosley was the man, not Cotto.

Had Pac fought Cotto and Mayweather fought Mosley directly after the Cotto-Mosley fight sure Pac would be fighting the tougher guy, but much had changed since then.

By the way, I voted Pac didn't duck Mosley. The word duck gets thrown around too much I think.

I don't consider Mosley was the man. To me the lineal title at WW was still vacant.

If Cotto and Mosley would have rematched, I would have picked Cotto again. Also, styles make fights and Mosley is too stationary for Pacquiao, so I consider that would've been an even easier fight for Pac. Pac would have made Mosley look really old.

    Cotto was the bigger challenge

Manny doesnt come straight foward like margarito.... He moves in and out and loves to mix it up! Margarito walked in on shane all night and gave him no respect... he treated shane like he had no power... BIG MISTAKE
