pac was already on the rise and is beginning to scout for bigger paydays and certainly raheem is not the one to give him that. so what's wrong with trying to earn a bigger payday? it's not like pac's asking for an unreasonable amount of 100M like some delusional guy i know..
and I don't even think they were in the same division. Pac had just moved up from featherweight to super featherweight. Raheem was a lightweight at the time. I think Pac had only had like 4 or 5 fights above 122.
If Pac had fought Zahir, he would be ducking a high payday rematch with Erik Morales for a low paying fight with a guy from one division higher at 135. Doesn't make any sense. Raheem is a lightweight and was only meant to be Erik Morales' tuneup, which Erik took very lightly. It's been documented that Erik has major issues on motivating himself to train properly from fight to fight. IMO, had Erk trained properly for Raheem, he would have beaten him. Raheem is no special fighter, as evidenced in his loss to a Acelino Freitas, a pure brawler, in his very next fight.
Thats like saying Hopkins ducked Danny Green not the first time a superfight nearly got derailed by a determined underdog Baldy beat Judah yet Judah got the fight vs Floyd first
:nono please!!! Floyd already was signed to fight Zab and he actually fought both of them back to back and now assholes are saying he cherry picked Baldomir :bart
im just sighting examples and the baldomir situation was the first that sprung to mind i think many thought b hop should have fought sturm over oscar im just saying manny didnt duck raheem, it may have been a good reason to think morales was washed up but manny also needed to avenge the loss for his legacy raheem in the grand scheme didnt and hasnt meant much
Yeah, right! Pac cherry picked the champ for his test fight at higher division.atsch What a bad cherry picker Pac was!
