To me, he didnt look like his old self, whether that be because of his year layoff, whether it was because he was a little more defensive due to his last fight result or maybe something else :think

Did Pac-man impress YOU last night?

Only Marquez can make Paquiao look like a Shot past prime Boxer, feed him Brawlers like margarito and Bam Bam and you will see Prime Pacquiao again... :bbb

    He fought quite defensive
& reminded me a lot of
Money may picking & choosing his spots.
It's obvious he is a changed man after getting ktfo.

    I supposed he should be.
I never have been ko'd / concussed before.

    So no was not impressed.
I mean he boxed bam bams ears off.
But that was to be expected.

Had he KO'ed rios I would be impressed.

No pac didn't impress me. To me he slowed dwn a lot his power wasn't there anymore his flurrys weren't as fast and powerful as they were he just not the same anymore . I'm a pacquiao fan but I feel he should just forget bout the mayweather. Back in 09 I feel pac vs may would of been a great fight money may would of still beat him but pac would have made floyd work for the win. But now floyd will just toy wit pacquiao if they would to meet. But I also got to say as much as I hate to say it cuz like I said I'm a big pacquiao fan but I'm gettin more convinced that pac was doping. He was a forced to be wrecking with destroying his opponents in such a brutal fashion. But as soon mayweather accused pac of doping pacquiao started going dwn hill from there.. pac should just retire becaue with last night performance its just a matter of time before he looses again

I agree with everything you've said other then the retirement. I think the 09 Pac was the only real threat to Floyds throne in his entire career. If that fight would have gone down we would have seen Floyds full arsenal and see him dig down deep but get the points win. Since these allegations about doping it has become clear that he has gone downhill while Floyd has remained on top. Although i fully stand with the 'innocent until proven guilty' sometimes when the evidence is there you have to throw that away and go with your instincts

i agree looked a lil slower with less power and his footwork wasnt the same and his defense was a little off. But it could just be the layoff, he actually looked better against marquez even though he lost.

he did what was expected, it was already widely assumed and discussed that if he had anything left he would dominate Rios, and if he was too far gone, he'd have a rough night.

It's obvious he's not KO'ing the upper tier fighters anymore. From what I saw last night, a number of the top ten 140lb and 147lb fighters give him all kinds of problems. Bradley beats him, again. Marquez beats him or makes it close enough to be a controversial decision. Mayweather takes him to school and ends the matter in the late rounds. Hell, I think Broner beats the brakes off of him.

Face it *******s, Pacquiao is DONE. Rios is a C class fighter at best. Sooner or later they'll have to put Pacquiao in the ring with someone LEGIT and it'll be game over...

It's a matter of perspective. It was a pretty one-sided win over a solid if somewhat limited opponent. Pac showed that he's still world-class. But compared to the Pacquiao that brutalized Ricky Hatton and Miguel Cotto 4 years ago, he definitely looked like a different fighter, and not a better one...

Still has the best footwork in boxing. Just lacks the killer instinct he had years ago. That is an issue. He would have knocked out Rios three years ago easily.
