Yes, when he fights CAREFUL and not CARELESS, he can be very dangerous!!!

MC CALL caught LEWIS being careless but LEWIS is till TOP DOG then.

Prior to the KO because of Pac's over confidence/and getting careless/stripped, Pac is well ahead in the score cards. Round 6 is Pac round to prior to the KO.

Upon first viewing it looked as if Pacquiao was lacking something as I was expecting a stoppage.

Watching it for a second time those combinations really stand out; there was some nice variety with the triple lefts and right hooks to the body. He's still a fantastic fighter.

In the last round it was apparent that Manny eased up instead of going for the kill.

I'd have to say Pacquiao impressed me but also did get me concerned for several moments.
Whenever Rios landed Pac often shook his head in response as if too say "You can't hurt me either". While it was a bold display I was concerned that Pac might get hit with something that he couldn't take.

Overall Pac's speed and impressive combinations like the double left hands, a variety of strong body shots followed by uppercuts. Rios took some hard shots and while I wanted a Pac finished I was happy with his performance, much credit to Rios for taking his shots though in all honestly he was on the defense a lot more then Margarito ever was and thus prob saved himself from a horrible beat down

Pacquiao impressed me a lot. Rios has a metal chin and it's hard to KO someone that just keeps his gloves up like Clottey.

Not impressed, pacs people (arum and roach) admitted rios was there because he had a style that would make pac look good. No one thought rios would win. Hell they even asked rios on hbo how he felt about pacs camp picking him because they thought he would make pac look good.

I thought the fight was bull**** and not worth being on ppv.

He looked hesitant to finish Rios in the later rounds, and kept extending his glove to Rios for some reason. He should have been going for the ko instead of trying to make friends with the guy.The Manny of old would have stopped Rios,he's definitely lost his killer instinct.

I still think he beats Bradley and JMM in rematches though.

Pac looked good but come on rios is a punching bag we were expecting the KO plus Pac did get touched up a few times by rios. I was going for Pac but he didnt impress. No a Mayweather fight will not happen its just too late and if it does its only because papa arum wants to cash out Pacman. really dont know where Pac goes from here all i can say after this fight NO HES NOT BACK. We are seeing a 75-80% prime Pac.

Yes and No. He looked good against Rios, but it was against Rios.

Thats the only problem, I dont know if Rios is a good measuring stick to decide where he is. If he fights Bradley, and beats him CLEARLY. Then that would undoubtedly be impressive. Till then, Im not sure. HE LOOKED IMPRESSIVE, THE WIN ISNT IMPRESSIVE.

    It should always be

Performance + Opposition = Level Of Impression.

I am impressed how both Rios and margarito looked similar, E.T. Look alike after the fight.

    No.

MAnny looks slow and old in Rios fight. He lost his killer instinct.

Your not gonna get a mayweather fight with that kind of a win.

    Slow and old?

He was darting in, punching, weaved, and out before Rios knew what hit him. Total agreement on the killer KO instinct but to say he was slow last night you must have been on crack and the world speed up 10x normal speed for you to see that as slow. Go back and watch the Margo fight. It was pretty damn close to the Rios fight. Don't see him as slow or old.
