Floyd turned down PAC's offer about the blood testing....Since Floyd didn't accept 24 or 30 days Floyd refused and PAC moved on. A few months later PAC to force Floyd into a corner agreed and Floyd talked about purse split then vacation. So either way Floyd created ALL the reasons why the fight didn not happen. From the allegations, to the specail demands to the purse split and now vacation. Floyd is the common denominator.

Both Paul Williams and Sergio Martinez (who did have a title at 154, not sure now) said "Yes" when asked about fighting Pac. Either way, even without a belt, the rankings should be as followed: Williams/Martinez #1/#2, which ever you want to place them. And then the rest.

PAC WOULD NOT HAVE FOUGHT EITHER.

    That said, neither would Floyd.

Why does Williams have a right to call out Pac?

Because he held a title at 147 after beating Plaster-boy-Margarito, and couldn't get a fight with anybody (unless you count Clottey).
At 154, Williams is proven, especially compared to Plaster-boy-Margarito.

Williams vs. Pac should be the title fight. Not Margarito. Just more corruption from Boxing and Bob Arum.

Yes......I don't think Floyd wanted Williams especially if he has options. Same with Pac.

    because it's nonsense.

If you can get any credit for beating Oscar, and then go on to win a paper title against Cotto, you should be good enough to face Williams. At 154, since this is a title fight, although it is at a bull**** catch-weight again, Williams should be the opponent, or Martinez, not Cheater Boy Margarito who has no rep. points at 154.

At this point, I could agree that the fight would be better served at 154 instead of 147 for a Williams match. Not sure if Williams could really make that weight and be healthy no matter what he says. Either way, Pac stepped up for a title fight at JrMW, he should have fought Paul or Martinez who are both more deserving than Plaster-boy.

nah pac and floyd did not reach an agreement back in march. meanwhile floyd just doesn't want to fight this time. as far as i'm concern, it was more of floyd than pac but i would agree that both have some big ego.

i am not really aware of the margo situation back then but what i know is floyd retired when a fight with cotto was the biggest fight back then at welterweight. now that floyd-pac is the biggest fight in welter, floyd is again retiring.

i do not care if you perceive that pac ducked williams, martinez or pavlik. what matters is pac wants the fight that matters most in floyd and that is what i care. pac could retire now if he could not get floyd in the ring with him but he has to earn his money. it's just bad that williams is not a top rank fighter so that arum could match him up with pac and let pac expose his inconsistency as a fighter. if cintron and quintana could rough him up, pac can surely do that.

    Like Clottey was?

Williams could easily be promoted with Pac and generate big money. It's all down to how they promote it.

If Pac really is a "pull" in PPV like many claim, he should have no problem generating the numbers with Williams.

Remember, Tyson vs. _____ always put up numbers.

Williams has been calling A LOT of Welters out to no avail....and A LOT longer than he has PAC. Yet only a few names at 147 stepped up. Marg being the biggest name.

That light welterweight Pac ducks former middleweights with a reach longer than the Klitchkos. Pac is the ducker of the century.

Last time I checked, Pac was a WW with a paper title and is now moving up to JrMW, although at a catchweight, for a paper Title.

If you can fight for a title, why not fight the best in the division?
