Would just like to know - saw Dawson in many people's top 10 p4p lists, sometimes as high as number 3!! Did Pascal beat a top 10 p4p fighter or has another American TV hype job been exposed (yeah I know he beat Glen Johnson....twice... :rofl:rofl:rofl)
He beat him right when he was about to get beat his self. He got lucky that stoppage happened, Dawson was starting to whoop him that 11th round.
maybe but I dont think so - Pascal has a tough chin and Dawson was lacking urgency until the end. think he left it too late.
The see-saw trend of that fight had no guarantees one way or the other. It wouldn't have surprised me if going into the 12th Pascal were the one to hurt Dawson again and finished the fight in style. There's no way of tellng how that fight would have ended.

I said it all along Pascal on points, the Thread I started 'Im going against the grain and picking Pascal to beat Dawson' HBO & The Ring magazine hype certain fighters to the hill. Dawson beat Tarver whos career is made from a KO over Jone JNR when losing the first fight, other than that Tarvers next biggest fights were splitting 2 fights with Johnson who has lost how many, yet Johnson looked unlucky against Dawson first time round. Dawson was given credit for beating 2 fighters 14/15 years older who only really had each other as their biggest wins. Dawson beat Adamek who wasnt a great LHW struggling twice with Briggs, but people are fooled by Adamek beating Cunningham due to 3 KDs when he was being outboxed, yet Cunningham had already lost to Wlodarcyzk. I wouldnt call Dawson all hype but as always said, not as good as being billed. Ive been accused of being a hater for saying this, which im not, but now people may may believe me when I say Zsolt Erdei a fast 2 handed fighter would beat Dawson
Yes, i always wondered why the hell this guy have been rated so high on p4p lists! One "good" win against a weight drained Adamek. 2 fights against Johnson (the first he barely won) and two fights against Tarver! That doesnt make Dawson p4p material.. But still some had him as high as #3 :nut
