calzaghe will fight jones jr and then fight someone like felix trinidad and retire he won;t have nothing to do with pavlik
Here it comes -- the predictable dichotomy of one fighter is great and the other sucks. Pav is great, so Calzaghe is a fraud. Cal is great, so Pav is overhyped. Cal fought bums and granddads. Pav fought limited fighters. They're both very good, very deserving fighters. Let's hope they meet in the ring one day and give us all a gift.
Pavlik is the mother****ing man. **** that lame slapper.(Im just kidding) but I would love to watch Pavlik fight anyday. He is one heavy handed mofo.
Might slap him in the eye and cause some blurring ... other than that ... lol Enzo Mac and Calzaghe were supposedly providing some top notch prep for Lockett ... LMAO ... how many knees did Lockett take?
But the bottomline is that, technically, Pavlik is the more schooled of the two and he definitely hits harder. MUCH harder. A Pavlik win would be inevitable if they fought, in my opinion.
well i guess there is no point for Joe to even fight KP considering Lockett and Calzaghe have the same exact style and physical attributes. prep guides a fighter but it does not win the fights. fighters win the fights.
Calzaghe is a bigger fighter than lockett, lockett found the target a couple of times and didnt punch all that much. Calzaghe punches a lot more and will find pavlik. I dont think pavlik will be walking through calzaghe like he has just done to lockett, calzaghe will keep him very busy.
I gotta admit man, I was not convinced about Kelly's ability - even after the last Taylor fight. Every time that I see him though, I dig him more and more.
listen you guys... after lockett tells calzaghe exactly how hard kelly hits, Im sure it will do either one of two things. (1) calzaghe thinks **** that...I want an easy payday and retire., or (2) it gets his back up, and the warrior comes out in him. I think it will be number (2) because its the type of fight joe will thrive on, win or lose. Pavlik was excellent tonight, remember Lockett had only ever been knocked down once in his life, and pavlik did it three times in one fight.
