Boxed circles? No one has EVER boxed circles around him .. RJJ didn't 'box circles' .. you think JC did?

What was Joe doing laying on the ground? Getting Hop's fist tired? Joe looked horrible in a points win ... versus one of the oldest fighters still in the game

Vitesse was saying that Calzaghe never boxed circles around Hopkins when I said that he would box circles around Pavlik.

As a result I asked him to name me a fighter that had.

the funniest thing is, there are two fighters out there that calzaghe needs to avoid. apart from pavlik, he should stay away from tarver.

I know tarver lost to hopkins etc etc, i have always felt that southpaw tarver would have the style to beat calzaghe.

Have been thinking this for a long time.

Dawson, Johnson, & George would all beat Joe ... probably by KO.

Load of horse**** and I've said multiple times that I thought Joe won, so you're wrong on that count (big ****in surprise). Pavlik did not dismiss Calzaghe as a challenger but just was remarking that it's hard becuase there are not many fighters left that American fans are familiar with... the one exception being RJJ who your boy will probably fight, and I'd much rather see Pavlik vs Calzaghe anyways. RJJ should hang 'em up IMO.

I call it as I see it and you were being a little homo back there going off and acting like Pavlik said something untrue or insulting, which he wasn't.

Kelly wants fight Joe. KP prides himself on fighting this best and thats why i respect him as much as any fighter in the world. this is no different than Hatton after the JLC fight commenting on Floyd Mayweather Jr. KP wants the payday and imo, Joe does too. well done by KP because he said it to get people talking and it obviously did.

See Hatton and a large portion of Calzaghe's career for a fine example of the British resistance to mass masturbation after meaningless victories :rofl :rofl :rofl

Johnson never lost to Woods .. today's Johnson is stronger than Hop .. Godfrey fought George at cruiser. At LHW he stomps Joe out .. too strong .. better athlete.

For sure. Pavlik looked good but that doesn't help much considering who he was up against. I give Lockett props for being a very game opponent but he was obviously out classed and we all knew what was going to happen. Still it was a fun fight to watch -- all Pavlik fights I've seen have been -- and he's a good guy so why ruin it over some fools who believe the he's P4P #2

Really it's dumb to bring nationality into it because they're just two men going head to head, but to pretend that this is some sort of American thing is goddamn ridiculous when some British fighters' careers have been built on these kind of fights. Leading up to Hatton vs PBF people were constantly linking to Hatton's destruction of some journeyman on ESPN2 during the early stages of his career (with the bodyshot KO) and citing that as an example of what Hatton was going to do, or what a prime Hatton is like.
