Did Pavlik ruin Jermaine Taylor?

The other thing that really damaged him was how people turned on him after losing. And, bad as it sounds, it made it worse that he got knocked out by white guys. It shouldn't make a lick of difference, and it may well not have to Jermain himself, but there was still that stigma that you just can't lose to white dudes that existed.

I don't think he ever really got over that. And not just the bandwagon, but people closer who he thought had his back.

I really believe it's that sense of betrayal that drove his bitterness. Either way, it's extremely sad to see. I liked Taylor.
