Did Pavlik's stock rise a little after last nights fight?

    This was one of my first thoughts after the end of the fight.

    Not really. If he had beaten Martinez, then yeah.

    It's like asking, Does Hatton's stock rise everytime Pacquiao fights someone bigger?...No.

    Pacquiao was a level or two above Hatton. And Martinez is a level or two above Pavlik.

    maybe it raised, but he still has to win to become a good fighter. A lot of guys have fought good fighters.

    kelly's stock will rise if and only if he gets his **** together and can put together a string of wins like he did on his way to the title.

    To say something like that just shows you have no respect for boxing/boxers, the time dedication, patience each fighter undertakes to get the the pros is an achievement only some people are blessed with.

    You obviously aren't one of them so you decide to be a hater! How's that going for you?

    it sort of did.

    The only time I can remember when Martinez ever looking vulnerable were the mid rounds of the Pavlik fight until Pavlik got cut.
