Whitaker, he was slipping punches that they were giving Oscar credit for. I knew Pernell Whitaker would lose cause Oscar was the face of boxing

It's been a while since I watched it but I gave it to sweet pea, but it could've gone either way.

You don't get credit for ineffective aggression.

You gotta be delusional. Pernell's eye was swollen shut, he was stunned twice in the fight, one of the times his knees buckled. The "knockdown" he scored over Oscar was a slip and a wrist to oscars side of his head at the same time, oscar put his glove down and was ruled a knockdown but everyone knew he wasn't hurt or anything. It was as greasy as a knockdown comes. the only area pernell dominated was the jabs, whereas Oscar dominated in combo's and power shots. Pernell was one jab at a time which u can't win a fight with that alone when your opponent is landing the harder, cleaner punches.

STFU moron. I love how if Oscar didn't destroy a fighter, then it must of means he lost.

What the fuk fight were you watching? It was pernell who's face was swollen and eye shut. Not oscar. It was oscar stunning Pea and throwing the hard punches. Pea was just throwing jabs lol Grab a brain. the second Pea was buckled around the 5th round from a left hook, he went totally on the defensive and was scared of Oscar's power.

It wasn't ineffective. Oscar had Pea's eye swollen shut, had him stunned a couple times, had pea scared of his power and forced Pea to back away all night too focused on defense while not throwing anything worth while back except lazy jabs mostly. Oscar came forward throwing combos and outlanding pea in the clean effective punches. It doesn't take a brain surgeon to understand why Pernell lost and Oscar won. Oscar simply did more damage and wanted the fight more. Pea was more focused on dancing and actin a fool and you don't win a fight like that against a guy landing hard punches all night, even if Pea was able to evade some of them, alot of them still got threw and did damage.

Yep, and the same people that think oscar lost this are the same ones that think he lost against Quartey, Trinidad and Mosley in their 2nd fight.
