These same fans of this clown criticize Ward too. A ****en purse bid for Stiverne-Povetkin? What a ****en joke. ****en big ass planet Rock sized, Rubix Cube brain.

they want big fights in russia. not too hard to understand. stiverne isn't even close to povetkins level. povetkin has at least eight victories that trump anything on stiverne's pathetic resume.

Povetkin wants to be a star and would be if he learned to wrestle before the Wlad fight. This fight did not need a bid but it was not for King and B-Ware. This was a message to Haymon that Russkie will blow a load of money for anything especially that Wilder fight.

probably dead on. they should already know this though. wasn't the bid for the cancelled fight something like 25 million?

Yep. With the larger cut going to Wilder. I can't tell a man what to do but I would fight a ****ing bear for 85% of that money right now. I would take less than Povetkins cut to fight a locker room filled with LAPD officers.
Makes me wonder if Wilder really wants to build a legacy because someone like Charles Martin sold out fast for less. Maybe Wilder wants to be take seriously and the PED stuff messed it up for the fight.

i'd get the **** beaten out of me by any top guy for a fraction of that. of course the fighters only end up with a fraction. idk what wilders camp is doing. we'll see who he fights upon his return.

Fact is Povetkin is the draw here and Stiverne and King were always going to force it to a purse bid as no way would any sane promoter offer Stiverne a 50/50 split with Povetkin when Povetkin is the bigger draw.

This will be Stiverne's biggest payday to date, he should be very grateful for this payday after his poor displays in recent fights. In fact Stiverne will be making a purse equal to Wilder's biggest purse to date with $1.4 million, more if he actually wins the fight.

Kind of funny that Wilder as a champion is making the same money as a guy he beat easily. Just goes to show where Wilder's career is going. Wilder better pray he can keep hold of that title long enough to cash out against someone like Joshua or Povetkin and make a decent payday instead of fighting for scraps.

Purse bids are one of best things in to happen in boxing. Forces Team X , Y to shut up and put up, at the same time makin good money ( in 90% of cases).

Nobody can blame the winning promoter for staging the fight in his "market" , where his own fighter is more known.

If I we're Stiverne, I would've prayed this fight to go to purse bid, knowing how much cash the russian billionaire likes to splash around.

A good showing from Beware, even though he losses and he might get an AJ payday in the future, on top of the 1.6MIL he gets now. Good for him, as Stiverne is gettin old, I hope he puts on a good fight

Difference being a Povetkin fight in Russia brings in the £££££'s, massive audience and the card in general is always excellent.

Ward on the other hand brings non of the above.

Bruh, maybe you didn't get the memo. It is a 50/50 fight and like $300,000 that's left in the pot goes to the winner.
