That's true. Thompson landed more in that fight than I think (according to Compubox) any other fighter ever has against Wladimir . . . Thompson is underrated by most. As for Price, can he come back? Sure he can. Will he? We'll just have to wait and see. How many thought 10-years ago that Wladimir would rule the division today? Some of the "hardcore" fans did, but probably close to zero percent of the general boxing fans. It's possible Price can come back at least to some degree. He seems like a good guy, I wish him no harm, we'll just watch and see what happens. I don't think he'll ever get a fight with Wlad though, as it will take 2-3 years for Price to come back and get in that position again, by then Wlad will be at or approaching 40 and either retired, or very close to it. And, for all the talk about Wlad's chin (which isn't nearly as bad as people make it out), Price's chin appears to be much worse judging by what happened Saturday, and throughout the amateurs.
Honestly that hit him behind the ear a bit looked like he didnt expect that shot to land did more damage than one would think but it could be the sweet spot for Mr Price some guys you hit them on the temple or the chin others on the ear some guys you just have to hit them in the ****ing liver its the way it is man this actually looks like the neck area wtf? however you can tell by the way he fell this was legit
Some fighters manage to compensate and correct for a ruptured eardrum in time to get their legs under them before the count is up, but Price just had no idea what the **** to do.
No one understands what a dive is and was in the old Mafia days of Boxing. Price was hit on the ear, equilibrium shot. KO all day every time. If he took a dive,no one told his perforated ear drum and rubbery legs. Jack Off.
