I'm pretty sure most fans pick the mythological "prime" Tyson to defeat Douglas had they fought before, is this the same for Chavez? Let's suppose Chavez reverts to his prime in order to face Randall, what's the result? Is this another case of a fighter ruining his prime by losing his discipline or Randall simply had the right tools and gameplan to beat any version?
I’m undecided. A part of me thinks that the Chavez of three years earlier does a bit better but I can’t guarantee that
Frankie always said he could beat Chavez, at the time myself and some others were a little dubious when he said it. When I saw him again some time later with the belt I told him ,,ya made a believer outta me.
Julio was 90 fights into his career, had become pampered and was partying. Prime Julio stops Frankie in 7 rounds of overwhelming offense.
