Nice self owning, you ****ing SPASTIC. Only can a Klit **** like you can score a 10 round fight 6-6. Log off you window licker.
I thought Mercer landed the more significant punches. And had Lewis hurt on a number of occasions. I think he edged that fight by a couple of rounds. And personally i thought that version of Mercer, would have beaten both Klitschko's today.
I had Lewis winning close. I had it 96-94, but this fight could have been a draw or a point or two win for Mercer. It was THAT close. I stand by my scorecard though.
Lennox won it closely. I genuinely think Lennox looked somewhat unfocused and could have beaten him more desicively. I dont know how would I say it..? like Lennox did not follow the game plan and went on brawl more he should have. Pretty Good Fight.
No. But all it would have taken to win was for Mercer to hold for 30 seconds less and punch for 30 more seconds. I think it was that close
Yes. Mercer also beat Holyfield. The judges were blind and in the pocket. They knew Holyfield and Lewis both drew bigger paydays than a Mercer so they robbed him.
Post your scorecard. You say the judges were "in the pocket". In who's pocket? Lennox was no draw. Are you alleging that Lewis paid the judges? I could see if you said Mercer won close or something like that, but this was no screw job. I call it a close win for Lewis, which it officially was.
Lewis was forced into a brawl because of two things. 1. A tiny ring 2. A highly motivated Ray Mercer with a massive opportunity infront of him. Lewis used his legs enough in the last two rounds to sneak it. Mercer was a beast when he wanted to be. "He was one hard hitting motherf**ker" Ray Mercer on Lennox Lewis in 1996.
Also this fight proves just how much more multi-dimensional Lewis was than either Klit. He could go to war when he had to, and still come out on top.
I was AT that fight. There were three of us, and we had seats in about the 8th row. EVERY ONE of us thought Mercer had won the fight. It's funny how a somewhat questionable bit of judging can influence boxer's career to such a large extent. If Mercer had been given the fight, that most people I spoke with at the Garden thought he'd won, how different would things have been for both Lewis and Mercer. Oh well, it's water under the bridge now.
