lol. I can't remember exactly who the trainers were was now as it was a long time ago I read it. However, I'm pretty sure some of them were the big players, like Emanuel Steward and company.
How is his style American at all? Hatton's style is to wrestle, rabbit punch, get hit square in the face from straight punches. He lost to the only three fighters he ever faced, and one was well past prime (Tsyzu).
