Did Roach decline a Manny vs Mosley fight?

He was never under any obligation to fight Mosely and, at that point, he wasn't committed to staying at 147. He still might not be. He did not want to vacate his 140 title because he 'planned' on defending it. People say Mosely can pick and chose at this point in his career, why not Pac? We know he is only going to fight maybe one or two times more.

Roach has no say, if the Cotto fight didn't happen then im sure that Pac and his camp would have considered fighting Mosley because it would have also been a big fight .

Well accordinging to manny in all of his post fight victory interviews. when asked about future opponents, he deflects that decision to roach, not even arum. so im thinking roach does have say so. He said he wasnt fighting mosley and he didnt. We could say what would have happened if the cotto fight didnt go through but the truth is we will never know. It really is okay to say that them pac ducked mosley. Pac is not anybodies blood brother on this forum. So need to defend religiously. i dont. you dont have to defend him when you have the truth in your face. If cotto was the issue then roach would have said that instead of ... "your are not dela hoya, you are too good"

By taking the Clottey fight, it guaranteed a win and kept Pacs hat in
the ring for the Mayweather fight - which is expected to do record numbers.

Roach knew this and didnt want to risk fighting Mosely for slightly more
coin than Clottey - for the risk that Mosely would end Pacs chances of
fighting Floyd, Shane was too good for Roach to face and know that they
are still going to win.

And its a fair call by Roach, because this potential showdown with Floyd is
going to line all their pockets.

Pac fought and stopped Cotto! Cotto beat Mosely. Mosely beat Margarito because Margarito did not train for that fight. Most knew that. Void did.

 

So Mosley is a huge welterweight now,what does this say about Floyd Mayweather then who dominated that big welter weight

 

Old Mosely is finished. Cotto was not.
