Probably. He was far from civilised.

    He seems pretty mellow now.

That's what he wants you to think before he steals your ladder behind your back.

I think out of every ko punch in history this one sits the most difficult with me.

It's such a blatant low blow.

Ken blatantly hit Duran after the bell. (Three times, technically, but the last one was launched well after the bell and clearly deliberate.) What did he expect Roberto to do?

I'm not on about in the realms of two men fighting.

I'm on about the knockout blow being an illegal punch.

Obviously it was an illegal punch. That has never been in question.

It was an illegal punch in response to three illegal punches, one blatant.

Ken learned the hard way: You wanna play, you gotta get in the sandbox.

Watching it, there is, however, the question of if the referee grabbing Roberto altered the arc of that punch. Could be it would have landed in the belly.

Either way, Ken got a receipt for his after-the-bell activities.

It was in response to Kenny, for at least the 2nd time in the fight, throwing a combination after the bell had clearly rung. Please watch it again.

Three wrongs don't make a right. If Duran was hit after the bell, retaliate with a shot after the bell.

It was a blatant low blow that ended the fight. None of Buchanan's misdeeds were bad enough to end Duran.

    He did.

Kenny was given the rest and wanted to skulk away with a poor-him DQ win and instead lost because he wouldn’t continue, as per the rules of the sport.

Both fouled. You don’t get your hand raised because your foul (that prompted the response foul) was less debilitating, lol.

Agreed, three wrongs don't make a right. I am not making an excuse for it. I am just explaining why it happened, which is never done on these boards when the topic is brought up. Where I personally don't agree with his doing it, I understand why he did it.

From memory, I'm not rewatching the video at the moment, Buch looked seriously hurt and unable to continue. If you think he faked it and wanted to walk away with a DQ, we'll that's something I have no information about.

It’s not about faking it. It’s about trying to continue. I definitely believe he wanted to force a DQ. He knew there’s no chance of him winning any other way by that point in the fight.
