Did Rocky Marciano ever meet Joe Frazier?

I agree. I just dont think either was a coward.

 

i would not say that rocky was a coward, he did show balls on the ring but i would say that he was smart because he was retired when he was 32 , maybe he knew that at this time he was not in the 100% of his capacity and he decided to retire to do not lose.( it was not the bravest act), maybe intelligent but not brave

dempsey and louis said that foreman was the most powerful hw that they saw ever.
marciano and louis they both said that they might beat ali in their primes.
lamotta said that mike tyson was bigger and stronger than marciano.
tyson said that foreman and shavers were killers.
archie moore said that frazier did emulate perfectly the style of armstrong.
foreman said "i doubt that ali would have beat a prime liston"
foreman said " i think that ali never did beat norton" " norton might beat ali any day"
archie moore faced marciano and ali and he said that clay was the best .


Does someone know the veracity of this rumor?
anyone did ask to liston about marciano and liston said that he would have finished marciano in 2 rounds.

 

I've heard that one day when Marciano and Liston were together, someone asked Rocky how he would've done against Liston prime vs prime, and Rocky was modest and more or less avoided any prediction. Liston was asked the same thing and said that he'd have knocked Rocky out. This made Marciano mad and Marciano either asked Liston to take a step outside with him or to go 4 rounds with him.

 

Before the FOTC, Dempsey wrote a detailed article arguing that Frazier would win and giving the reasons for his pick. You get the idea that Dempsey liked Fraziers styl;e and saw a little of his own in it.

 

Frazier also said that the two best heavyweights outside of him and Ali were Louis and Jack Johnson ... Ali agreed ...
