Did Roy Jones Jr ever fight on an undercard after becoming popular.

    He seemed to headline all events in his prime and past prime.

    Before he won his first title, he fought on the undercard any number of times, like most rising contenders do.

    When Roy Jones fought Bernard Hopkins the first time for the vacant IBF Middleweight Title, it was on the undercard of the Riddick Bowe-Jesse Ferguson heavyweight title fight.

    The IBF Middleweight Title fight between Roy Jones and Thomas Tate was on the undercard of the Oscar De La Hoya-Giorgio Campanella fight.

    I believe that was the last time - unless he did during his later-career run. I tended to avoid most of those fights.

    yes I saw him fight on the Mancini vs. Haugen undercard in 1992 in Reno against Art Serwano...
