    point is he made it all the way down to under 170 and it didn't effect him. Quit with the excuses. Jones never had a Chin. Ever. And it explains a lot about his career.

    Yes, 1/2 a pound. And are you seriously going to try use his performance against Tito as some form of evidence he can move down and fight just fine? Tito..who hadn't fought in HOW long? And had his best fights for his career 20 pounds south....10 years ago?

    Dude, it's post like this that suggest you cannot be taken serious at all and will pretty much say ANYTHING to make a point you really don't have.

    Bottom line Jones was not the same fighter after the moved down to fight Tarver the first fight. He may have gotten the weight off and looked pretty decent in some fights. The damage was already done at that age he destroyed his body and lost all his strengths such as his legs, reflexes etc.

    Imagine if Roy vs Tito would of happen back when it was supposed to happen 11 years ago? I thought Roy was toying with him in the recent fight. I think 2000-2001 Roy would destroy Tito easily. Roy even told Don King if you want to see them both fight avoid Hopkins because Jones knew Hopkins would give Tito some problems.

    How is Tito any different than the bums that have been KOing and knocking Roy down? :huh:patsch

    Look man, the fact you ask questions like this, WHILE being serious, and suggesting Jones ability to fight 'well' at a lower weight BASED ON THEM, really shows you're either trolling, or do not have a clue at all.

    Tito wasn't a ranked SprMW or LtHW just because he weighed in at 170. Tito would get clobbered by ANY bottom 20 contender at 168 or 175. Give it a rest dude.

    You definitely don't know what you talking about.

    Before the weight the drop he only got knockdown by Lou Del Valle as a professional fighter. So you telling me he never got hit before? Was undefeated for close to 10 years? You say he had no chin? If he had no chin why did it take him so long to lose by KO?

    The Trinidad fight? Are you serious lol? Trinidad had now business in the ring dude. He came out of retirement because his daddy told him he still had it. gtfoh

    EDIT: And now that I remember that fight, Jones looked old as hell. That wasn't a Roy Jones perfomance at all. LOL that's desperate dude. Try again.

    This disqualifies you from speaking on the subject matter any further. Losing muscule mass is something that almost anyone who's been watching boxing for longer than a month can tell you about. If you can't see how that affects a fighter, you simply haven't been watching enough boxing. Either that or you haven't been paying attention.

    I have a feeling that Jones was roiding when he looked like superman at LHW (pre Tarver).

    :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

    The Jones nuthuggers were on here the very next day saying Jones was 'back' and that his weight issues were behind him etc. I was on here don't try and lie.

    Jones has a severe Chin issue and nothing else. Always did.
