There's not many top guys in boxing that hasent been hurt at some point in there career

Crawford vs Gamboa = Crawford hurt and badly wobbled

Mayweather vs Corley,Mosley = mayweather hurt and Badly wobbled

Wlad vs sanders = Wlad hurt and knocked out

    It happens to everyone

I couldnt tell if he did or not, he hides it so well. He got beat up though thats for sure but didnt seem in serious trouble.

Fair play he is a hard hard man but hell he looked so basic in there. He has a good set of tools at his disposal and yet he just looks so 1 dimensional. He can be alot better than he is.

Matthysse was in control of the first minute of every round he lost in my opinion... Let them slip away since he lowered the activity and didn't land any combinations while Provodnikov plodded forward.

He is what he is unfortunately. Even if he brushes up his technique somewhat, will always revert to type. He's a slugger who doesn't take a step back, and blocks punches with his face. Enjoy his fights, because he's going to have a very short career. He absorbed a hell of a lot of shots from one of the hardest punchers out there p4p.

Definitely from the Gatti school of boxing. Big big heart, power, and serious entertainment value, but a skilled boxer he will never be. Do agree that he needs to brush up his D, even if just a little.

    Wait, say what bro?

Please educate me on what I think... When did I say what you are saying I said? Because I never have said anything about Provodnikov's chin other than it being good. Never said it was poor or highly suspect or about to be cracked or any of that.

I picked Matthysse to win by UD.

A big majority of vocal and active posters on this forum picked Provodnikov to win. I know that's not everyone, but as far as people who've been posting about and discussing it for the last couple weeks to a large degree, noticeable majority had Provodnikov pegged as the winner, with many implying it was an easy fight for him and easy fight to predict.

Where are they at? The only one sticking to his guns is at least smart enough at this moment to only stand by "Lucas was out on his feet in the 11th" as opposed to any rash claims of Ruslan winning.

My compliments go out to both, despite seeing what most should have been able to see coming.

Ruslan is extremely tough but that was the kind of fight that will shorten his career.

Barely budged, and Lucas was drilling him with flush UCs inside, 1-2s from the outside, lead R hands, L hooks.......

I can't imagine another stationary fighter from 135-154 surviving thru the first 2 rds of that fight.:thumbsup

personally I thought he was after the first 3 rounds, he got punched like a pinada and I was sincerely worried he got a concussion
However, even if ate every single punch of the combination thrown at him, he kept coming, he never stepped back
