If Davis was this mythical beast everyone makes him out to be he wouldn't have grabbed Garcia in a bear hug like a baby Koala hanging on his mother so many times when Garcia let his hands go.

Garcia made a tactical error and paid for it, would love to see a rematch 6-8 months from now if Garcia has the stones for it.

Exactly. You can see it all over his feminins looking face.

It was a reality check for sure because it looks like he genuinely thought he was going to blast Tank out in that second round

However he adjusted well and did his best for the remainder of the fight. Also took that KD shot very well.

I do think the rehydration clause ultimately screwed him as he knew he had no chance beyond 5 rounds and had to go for the early KO

Similar to what lsc did to tank before getting brutally stopped.

Garcia became considerably more cautious after the knockdown. It took him until the sixth round before he started becoming aggressive and taking risks. A round later he was done. Garcia fought on his front foot in rounds 2, 6 and 7 and he was rewarded with a knockdown and then a knockout.

Lomachenko won most rounds in the second half so that doesn't make very much sense.

Tank's stocky but much smaller than Garcia.

First thing following Tank around the whole fight that's just something you don't do,

If you look back like 2-3 years when Garcia made videos he's going to knock Gervonta the mass public opinion was that it was ludicrous fallacy,

I think people got used to the idea of the fight happening now since a few years went past along with his Campbell victory thinking that now perhaps the odds would have come closer for Ryan but in reality it really didn't seeing what transpired.

No. He did well in the round before the KO. He actually nailed Davis with a number of good right hands.

He knew he was in over his head after that 1st counter KD….
& new it was futile to continue after the body shot- KD

All boxers, doesn't matter how good you are, will take a dent in their confidence. Its that mental sting. Some really struggle with bad or unexpected knockdowns, AJ is a good example. Others, some of the greats, learn from it and use it to their advantage.
