4lbs can still be quite a difference at lower weights. Gomez at 126lbs was forced to rely more upon his boxing ability against higher class opponents; and that alone wasn't enough to face down the challenge of his best opponents at the weight. A smart, well schooled pressure fighter like Nelson walked through his best shots and eventually took him out. If they're at 122lbs...it might have been a different story.

Nelson and Lopez were both all world flamethrowers at 126lbs, yeah. Sanchez's chin was definitely solid, that's for sure.

 

His heart was even better than his unbelievable chin.
