If Saunders stunk the joint out and still beat Lemieux all of the fan boys would be saying he hasn't earned the fight and GGG/Canelo don't need him?

What excuse is there now though? Saunders looked excellent and was very entertaining, this was a boxing lesson but there was enough entertainment to keep the fans happy!

I think GGG moves up after Canelo if he beats him and if Canelo wins then he goes the Jacobs or Charlo route, bigger money and less risk!!!

    Dudes earned it.

He's got that 4th strap. GGG-Canelo winner is going to fight him for total unification- no doubt in my mind. Too much $$$ and legacy at stake to ignore it.

GGG vs Saunders is the fight I want to see next I would even prefere it over the Canelo rematch.

Anyway with Saunders, Charlo, Jacobs Murata and Derevyanchenko there are some interesting fights for Canelo and GGG if the rematch won't happen next

GGG aint moving up unless it's a big payday against WBSS winner (most likely CEJ).
There's no one else out there for him.

Yeah. His win last night solidified his place amongst the 4 best MW's in the division, Canelo, GGG, Jacobs and himself. And with the inclusions of Charlo, Lara and Andrade in the mix the MW division is starting to really heat back up again!!

Bring on Golovkin/Saunders. All of the belts at stake between the #1 and #2 Middleweights in the world.

Exactly, WBSS winner will be the biggest fight out there for him in terms of money regardless of who wins IMO.
    Smith will crush PBB,

Smith, Jr or Groves will be huge fights in terms of $$$$ and GGG is all about $$$$ he doesn't care about legacy at all IMO

    Will it happen though?

I know Billy wants it, but I am unsure about GGG?

This has always been Golovkin's position:

"‘Billy Jose Saunders has said he’s willing to fight Gennady, so that would be the first choice if the Canelo fight doesn’t happen,’ explained Loeffler. ‘We going to pursue everything to make the Canelo fight happen to the WBC title and then, once that situation is solved, go after Saunders and see if there is a way to make that fight happen.’"

If Canelo chickens out of the rematch then GGG will fight Saunders.

If the Canelo rematch happens then I have little doubt the winner will fight Saunders for the last strap.

I'm hoping for GGG to take both.

These fights will be massive either way. 2018 might be better than 2017 at this rate!

    He definitely has done.

I think the fight will get made now because I think for the first time BJS and his team believe he's not only ready but he now able to become the best, I think that means he'll no longer posture and price himself out, he'll take the fight as a calculated risk knowing if he wins he writes his own cheques.

Why do you like to forget Saunders signed the fight last year and GGG ducked?

I think Saunders should study the things that Canelo did right against GGG to have any chance. There is a danger that Saunders might gas because even though his conditioning is better now the pace GGG will fight at will be relentless.
