I was pretty much about to write the same comment so I'll just co-sign this and add that from Wilders reaction, which showed that he too hyped up with the stoppage to know it was faked. His enthusiasm was real. Here's another thought, Wilder didn't need Scott to take a dive. If Scot chose not to get up, it was totally his decision and doesn't effect Wilder one bit.:bbb
I don't think so. The left hook, although not a very good one, landed very clean on the temple and then he got a piece of the right hand too that bounced his brain around a little more. He's got a glass temple and he could have got up but he quit.
Saw the replay more than 6 times and in slow motion, I still have my doubts. Ponce de León was hit with a thunderous right hand by Juanma, if he had the same reaction as Scott I would've understand but that was not the case and is so weird, in a very corrupted way, almost FBI illegal type of ****
Your the only racist :deal And why would anyone be scared of someone they never have to face in the ring ?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TthyWRX7WbI That was fake as hell. Yeah I was talking to Charlie Zelenoff yesterday and hes pissed off and hes been saying for years that these fights are fixed ala Wilder dive/ Garcia decision
That left was an arm punch, it had nothing behind it, it was a slap. Dereck Chisora hit Scott more and harder, and Scott didn't went down with the first slap. And the winking from Scott.. That mother****er had his eyes LOCKED on Wilder whle falling down and even on the canvas; he was really focused for a knocked out man! His acting skills are worse than WWE, it's so obvious he didn't want to get up and he was faking of being stunned. But hey, what did you expect? Scott is Wilder's sparring partner, they're friends, he doesn't have a future.
Scott's reaction is really what puts it over the top. It's not like glancing temple blows don't knock guys out, but the guys who get knocked out by them sure as hell aren't as lucid as Scott was. Temple shots will turn you off like a light switch before you hit the ground, and ear drum shots are too painful to have no reaction. You don't stumble back, break your own fall, and keep your eyes glued on the guy who punched you. Not on a temple shot. The bottom line is there is no way that was a legitimate knockout in any sense of the phrase. As far as motivation or who else was or wasn't in on it, that's speculation. For one reason or another, Scott threw it. That's it.
The glancing temple blow didn't knock him out. It knocked him down, that much seemed legitimate. Then he said "peace!" and quit.
